A licensed telecommunications operator; Africom is the first company in Zimbabwe to challenge all convention by offering converged communication solutions. With all other telecommunications operators offering traditional products, Africom is the first company to integrate data, voice and video over broadband as well mobility into a single solution. Since its inception in 1995, Africom has made great strides and achievement in the ICT and telecommunications industry. Growing from premise wiring enterprise into a fully fledged converged communication provider that it is today, Africom continues to redefine communication in Zimbabwe.

RUDO MUDAVANHU

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Rudo is a seasoned Telecommunications expert and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Zimbabwe. She has an Executive in Management for Executives diploma from the University of Zimbabwe and a Diploma in Computer Analysis and Systems Design. In 2010 she became the first named ICT Business Woman of the Year by the Ministry of Information Communications Technology (ICT) and recently in 2014 was inducted into the Women’s Heritage Trust an International unit which recognises women’s contribution into the society. She currently sits and assists in a couple of Boards as Non-Executive Director.

ABISAI MATANGIRA

CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER

Mr. Matangira joined Africom in September 2007; thus, he has spent 10 years at Africom in the Technology Department covering various roles from Product Development, Network Development and Rollout, Operations and Support, Technology Leadership and Engineering. His work in the Technology Department largely contributed to Africom’s initial establishment of the Internet Service Provider Business which has grown to 100,000 internet customers. His current focus is on development and deployment of the household broadband technology platform which reduces entry barriers for SMEs and household Internet and over-the-top (OTT) applications. Abisai holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computers and Management Information Systems from Solusi University.

ANELE MOYO

FINANCE MANAGER

Mr. Moyo has held finance roles for many companies over the years, having worked for Delta Corporation, Astra Building Centre, and as a Finance Manager for Telecontract t/a Telco, prior to joining Africom Holdings in March 2017. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree in Accounting from the National University of Science and Technology. He is a Post Graduate student member of the Institute of Certified Tax Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICTA)
